11 new direct connections enhance the airline’s service across Europe and the Middle East.
Eurowings is growing as it aims to become the new “business and vacation airline” for the Czech Republic. The latest phase of network growth will see a total of 11 new direct connections from Prague added to the carrier’s delivery from 31 October 2021 and plans in place to base three Airbus A320s at the Czech capital’s airport by the summer of 2022.
Eurowings passengers in the Czech Republic will be able to book a range of low-cost flights from Prague to Spain (Málaga, Barcelona, Fuerteventura and Tenerife), Greece (Athens), the United Kingdom (Birmingham and Bristol), Denmark (Copenhagen), Italy (Milan), Croatia (Zagreb) and also Tel Aviv (Israel).
Eurowings will initially station two A320s in Prague from 31 October 2021, with an additional A320 joining them in summer 2022. The Prague base will be Eurowings’ 10th in Europe; Eurowings expects to create more than a hundred new jobs through this move and offer “nonstop connections from Prague to attractive business and holiday destinations throughout Europe.”
