A pairing of surrealism and wine

Brilliant. Unconventional. Passionate. And Empordanese. Salvador Dalí is a universally iconic figure, whose legend was forged in this small coastal region of Costa Brava. The unique work of this artist, who was born in Figueres in 1904, is packed with references to the Costa Brava landscape that inspired and was so much a part of him.

The Dalí Theater Museum is Salvador Dalí’s last major work, this museum was conceived and designed by the artist himself. The tour around the museum’s exhibition rooms is a feast for the senses, which journeys through all the facets of art explored by Dalí: painting, sculpture, installations, holograms, photography, etc.

After the visit to the museum, we will head toward el Celler de Peralada. With a winemaking tradition spanning over six centuries, Perelada produces wines with character, presence and international renown. His ambition is to reflect the personality of their single vineyard estates and to ensure that each bottle expresses the rich bounty and nuances of the Empordà. The tour includes a lunch and a visit to the winery and the domain.

Medieval towns between volcanoes

Garrotxa is a land of volcanoes, enchanting towns, peaceful forests, charming accommodation and lip-smackingly good food. Let yourself be seduced by the most well-preserved volcanic area in the whole Iberian Peninsula, as you wander its landscape of volcanoes, lava flows and dry-stone walls.

On this visit we will visit two of the most historic towns in the area: Besalú, one of the most important, unique and best-conserved mediaeval sites in Catalonia were going back to the time of counts and kings.

And the other village has plenty of history is Santa Pau. Its significant medieval heritage is clear to see in its walls, arcaded square, castle and steep, winding cobbled streets. Santa Pau also boasts stunning nature in the form of an immense shady beech forest, Fageda d’en Jordà, and the spectacular volcanic zone, containing the Santa Margarida and Croscat volcanoes. The tour includes a magnific lunch where can enjoy the volcanic gastronomy.

A taste of the medieval towns in Costa Brava

Visiting Pals and Peratallada with Burricleta, the rural electric bike, is much more than discovering two of the most beautiful and charming towns on the Costa Brava. It's also a fantastic journey back in time, transporting us more than a thousand years into the past as we explore two of the best-preserved medieval towns in the country.

If walls could talk, Pals and Peratallada would have many fascinating tales to tell about the past. Strolling through the streets of these two neighboring towns is like walking straight into a movie (set in the Middle Ages, of course), offering a magnificent cultural experience.

We will visit the Mas Geli cellar to taste the fantastic wines of the region. There is no better way to end the trip than with a Catalan lunch, to experience the local gastronomy at the Sala Gran restaurant, in the town of Llofriu.
